Yetiv Zvi Cohen explores themes of tension, identity, domestic concepts and the politics of space. His works often reflect a distinct Jerusalem aesthetic, bridging the gaps between the intimacies of daily life and objective environments. In his creative philosophy, he often addresses personal and collective fears as evolutionary survival mechanisms, treating his art as aesthetic "forensic evidence". He frequently contemplates the human body, identity and the spectrum between anxiety and connection through media such as installation, ceramic tiles and photography.

Yetiv Zvi Cohen – Artist Statement:
Fear is an emotional and physiological sensation caused by exposure to a dangerous or threatening external stimulus. It plays a central role in our survival, serving as a warning signal in the face of danger and as a form of protection against it.
In each work and in the relationships formed through the connections created within it, I embrace fear and transform it into love. Battle becomes closeness. The works operate along a spectrum that moves between fear and subjective anxiety on the one hand, and collective fears as mechanisms of survival on the other. In my view, they occupy the status of forensic evidence imbued with aesthetic qualities.^
